Made from the ground seeds of the guar bean, Guar Gum has eight times the thickening power as cornstarch and is an excellent all-purpose thickener for salad dressings, ice creams, puddings, gravies, sauces, soups and more! It's also a great binder for use in gluten free baked goods.

Usage Tips • If using to thicken liquid, it is best to first make a slurry of the guar gum with a small amount of liquid (oil or other fat is best) before incorporating into the larger batch. This will help eliminate clumping. • Highly acidic ingredients will lessen the thickening abilities of guar gum. • Great stabilizer for cold and frozen foods.
